Lindsey was inspired to learn from the best at WDBJ7 after having a broadcasting lesson from Robin Reed, a longtime meteorologist and anchor on channel 7.
She began as an intern in September 2023 and fell in love with telling stories in the Star City. Lindsey became a part-time multimedia journalist at the completion of her internship in November 2023.
In January 2024, she joined the WDBJ7 team full-time as a multimedia journalist and weekend reporter.
A Virginia native and avid fan of DC sports, Lindsey was born in Fairfax, Virginia. She grew up in Pennsylvania, but always considered herself a Virginian at heart. After graduating high school she knew she wanted to come back to her home state.
Lindsey studies multimedia journalism at Virginia Tech with a minor in philosophy, politics and economics. At school, she is the General Manager of Tech's student run television, VTTV.
Outside work and classes, you can find Lindsey cheering for the Commanders, Capitals and Nationals, frequenting coffee shops and catching up with friends and family.
Lindsey is always looking forward to meeting members of the community and telling stories. She encourages anyone to reach out through or email or social media to say hello!
