We’re fast-forwarding a month, as temperatures linger around late March / early April levels
Enjoy some spring-like weather today.
We’re starting out with temperatures in the 20s this morning. We’re going to see abundant sunshine today, and temperatures will be warming up very nicely as a result, topping off around 55 degrees this afternoon.
High temperatures this week will be very spring-like for the start of the week, with highs topping off in the mid and upper 50s, possibly into the 60s on Wednesday. A cold front passing mid-week will keep us cooler for the second half, but we’ll still be seasonable at the very least. Overnight lows will be considerably warmer as well. Our normal low is around 28 degrees, and we’re going to stay above freezing for most of the week.
Rain chances will be pretty low for the week, but a cold front will bring us some widespread showers on Thursday. Tomorrow we may end up seeing some light rain in the northern half of our area for the morning, but a lot of us hold on to sunshine and clouds for most of the afternoon.
Highs will return to the 40s at the end of the week, and we might see a short period of snow Thursday night as lows dip below freezing. Minimal accumulation is expected at this time.
