Awesome weather continues this afternoon, some might see rain this morning
Highs will be in the 50s again this afternoon.
Temperatures are starting out on a warm note this morning, with some of us in the low 40s. Yesterday was a warm one, with temperatures topping off at 54 degrees. So far, we’ve been a lot warmer, but the afternoon will reach the same highs. We do have a few clouds moving through our area right now, with some rain from a weak frontal system to the west. A few of us could see some stray showers this morning, but they’ll be short lived, and mainly to our northern counties. This afternoon we’ll see a lot more sunshine, with temperatures topping off in the mid 50s again.
Some light showers will be possible between 9 and 11 AM. These showers will be hit or miss, and if you’re along the southern half of our area, you’re likely not going to see them. Overnight tonight will be mainly clear, with lows falling into the mid 30s. Tomorrow will be the warmest day all week, with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s with partly cloudy skies.
High temperatures this week will be very spring-like for the start of the week, with highs topping off in the mid and upper 50s, possibly into the 60s on Wednesday. A cold front passing mid-week will keep us cooler for the second half, but we’ll still be seasonable at the very least. Rain chances will be pretty low for the week, but that cold front will bring us some widespread showers on Thursday. Thursday we’ll see that front bring us some rain, with much colder air Thursday night. Any leftover rain will switch over to snow for Friday morning, but we’re not looking at any accumulation from this system.
