After a week long stretch of spring-like weather, this morning will bring a bit of weather whiplash
Don’t forget your jacket his morning.
This morning we’re going to be a lot colder than any day this week, with temperatures starting out in the 30s. Yesterday’s temperatures were warm to start, and we fell a few degrees as the rain moved through. We did warm up to about 55 degrees as the sunshine returned. Temperatures this morning are looking about 20 degrees colder than yesterday morning.

Winds today will be gusty, with gusts of up to 30 mph possible from the west. These gusts will continue into tonight and we stay gusty into tomorrow. As a result of these gusts and cooler temps, wind chill values this morning will be in the 20s. Don’t forget to grab that warm jacket.

We could see some light flurries up against our western slopes this morning, but otherwise clouds are dying down on satellite. With the increasing sunshine today, we’ll stay clear into the evening and for most of the night. As a result, tonight will be the best and last night to view the planetary parade. You’ll want to look to the south right after sunset. Neptune and Uranus will require a telescope to be visible, but the rest of the plants will be visible to the naked eye. Mercury and Saturn will be very low on the horizon and only stay out for a few minutes past sunset.

Tomorrow we’ll see a front passing through, and as a result we could see a bit of rain starting in the morning. Temperatures will begin coming down after lunch time tomorrow, and as they do, rain will switch over to snow. Next week starts off on a warm note, but we have a chance for rain most of the week.
