Dry weather and feeling like spring this week, rain chances hold off until next weekend
Above average temperatures expected this week
After a few hours of clearing skies, a low-pressure system in the Gulf will continue spreading high clouds across the area this evening and into tonight, but dry conditions should persist. Lows will drop to the lower to mid-30s.

On Monday, cloudy to mostly cloudy skies to start the day as the same low-pressure system moves off the Southeast coast. As the low shifts offshore, clouds will gradually decrease by the afternoon. Highs will reach the upper 50s to low 60s.

A dry cold front will attempt to move into the area on Wednesday but will likely stall just to our north. This stalled front, combined with high pressure to the south, will help usher in warm air as winds shift to the west-southwest.

Spring-like warmth will settle in, with highs generally in the 60s and morning lows in the 40s. Lower elevations will likely see a few days this week in the 70s.

Dry conditions will continue for most of the week, with the next chance of rain holding off until next weekend when the next cold front arrives.
