Plentiful sunshine today will lead us to much warmer weather this afternoon
Warmer weather continues today.
We’re looking at some warmer temperatures this morning, with most of us sitting above freezing in the upper 30s and low 40s. Yesterday was a nice day, as temperatures reached up into the mid 50s. So far, this morning is about as cool, with some of us a little warmer than yesterday. Clear skies today will start us out in the mid 30s, with lots of sunshine as we head into the afternoon. High temperatures today will be in the mid and upper 60s. Today we’ll see some gusts pick up, coming from the west at up to 20 mph.

As far as the warming trend goes, Wednesday will be the warmest day all week, and the warmest day we’ve seen all year, with temperatures topping off in the low 70s. Even into the end of the week, temps will stay in the mid and upper 60s. Temps dip a bit on Monday, but we return into the 50s and 60s for the rest of next week.

The clear skies today will continue through the overnight hours, with low temperatures on the mild side, sitting in the mid and low 40s. Tomorrow we’re going to be very warm with highs in the low 70s, with a few clouds here and there. We’re looking at dry weather for most of the work week. this weekend a large system will impact the central parts of the country, and we could see some heavy rain over the weekend as it passes through our area.
