BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WSAZ) - Sen. Joe Manchin (I-WV) of West Virginia spoke about President Biden ending his reelection bid and endorsing Vice President Harris on Monday morning on MSNBC.

When asked if he would be challenging VP Harris for the democratic nomination, Sen. Joe Manchin (I-WV) replied, “No. No, I’m not intending to run for any political office, and I made that very clear. I’m retiring, but I’m going to be involved, and I’d like to have a voice and I think I speak for the majority of Americans who are in the middle like me. 51 percent of us are registered to participate to vote, but we are independent.”

“I was hoping that with the decision that President Biden made that their would be a primary that we could find out where the cream of the crop of the new generation.”
