CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – The Cabinet Secretary of the West Virginia Department of Administration has handed over his letter of resignation, the Office of Jim Justice confirmed on Tuesday.

Mark Scott’s resignation is effective July 31, 2024, officials say.

Secretary Scott was appointed by Gov. Jim Justice to the role of the West Virginia Department of Administration Cabinet Secretary effective Nov. 1, 2021.
