Beckley ARH receives accreditation for its CT services
BECKLEY, W.Va. (WVVA) - Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital announced it has been accredited by the American College of Radiology.
The accreditation will stand for a three-year term.
In a release from the hospital, CEO Todd Howell cites the accreditation as crucial to ARH’s continued success and recognition within the medical industry.
“We are committed to ensuring that each CT scan has the highest level of image quality and is centered on patient safety,” he said. “I am proud of our team and the work they do to ensure great care for our patients and the residents of southern West Virginia.”
Medical staff noting the medical facility is the only one in Southern West Virginia accredited for it’s pediatric CT or CAT scanning.
“Patients don’t want to and shouldn’t have to travel far from home for their medical care,” Lhea Mollette, director of ancillary services for Beckley ARH.
“We work hard to provide the best care possible for our patients and this accreditation shows that.”
