Avery Davis joined 29News as an MMJ in July 2024, after graduating from George Washington University in May 2024 with a bachelor's in journalism and minors in Political Science and Sociology.
Originally from outside Nashville, Tennessee, Avery has also lived in Spain, Australia, and Maryland as a former member of the U.S. National Team for Slalom Kayaking.
Outside of work, you can find Avery getting to know the Charlottesville area, reading (typically alternating between two or three different books simultaneously) or catching up with her family in Tennessee from afar!
