Amir joined WDBJ as a Multimedia Journalist in September 2023. Before joining the team, she was a photojournalist at WRIC-TV in Richmond.
Amir graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. While there, she interned for WAVY-TV in Portsmouth, Virginia.
When she’s not in the newsroom or out covering a story, she likes to paint and watch her favorite TV shows.
