Concord men’s soccer advances to MEC championship after shootout with Davis & Elkins
Mountain lions get out to a 3-0 lead early and don’t look back to make their conference championship for the first time ever

ATHENS, W.Va. (WVVA) - The Concord Mountain lions men’s soccer team was looking to advance to the program’s first Mountain East Conference (MEC) Championship Wednesday night taking on the Davis & Elkins Senators in the MEC semifinals.
Concord pounced early and often in the first half, scoring three goals in the first 25 minutes, leading 3-1 at the end of the first half. In the end, Concord wins 6-4 advancing to the MEC championship
