Brian Ferguson let go by Concord
The Mountain lions will go in a different direction for the football team’s head coach

ATHENS, W.Va. (WVVA) - The Concord Mountain Lions have decided to go a different direction with their football program.
Brian Ferguson was relieved of his duties effective immediately Monday afternoon, as the program will conduct a national search. In the interim period, defensive coordinator David Blake will oversee the team.
Ferguson had just finished up his second year as the head coach, after three seasons as the offensive coordinator, finishing his tenure with a 2-20 record overall.
