Concord men’s soccer makes NCAA tourney for the first-time ever
Mountain lions claimed the No. 9 seed in the Super Region One Monday night

ATHENS, W.Va. (WVVA) - History was made in Athens on Monday night during the Division II NCAA men’s soccer tournament selection show.
The Concord Mountain lions heard their names among the 64 teams selected to the dance, claiming the No. 9 seed in the Super Region 1. Concord will face No. 8 seed New Haven Chargers on Friday at 3 p.m. in the Mountain lions first-ever NCAA tournament game in Charleston. The winner will move onto face No. 1 seed Charleston in the round of 32.
Concord finished the year as Mountain East Conference (MEC) runners-up, with a 15-3-2 overall record, and 11-1-2 in MEC play.
