ATHENS, W.Va. (WVVA) - Concord University has its new man at the helm leading the football program.

Cody Edwards was formally introduced Tuesday among current and former athletes, coaches and Mountain lion fans. Edwards comes from Western Carolina University where he served as the linebackers coach and special teams coordinator. Edwards has also spent time along he sidelines for Tusculum, Keiser University, and Emory & Henry and played at UVA-Wise. This is Edwards' first head coaching job.
