Flying Eagles win streak comes to an end at home
On Sunday, the Southwest Virginia Community College Women’s Basketball team dropped a back-and-forth affair against Bryant and Stratton (VA).

Cedar Bluff, Va. (WVVA) - Coming into Sunday afternoon, it had been just under a month since the SWVCC Women’s Basketball team had lost a game.
With 9 straight wins, they were as confident as can be while the team celebrated their Sophomore players who will be moving on at the end of the year.
The Flying Eagles welcomed Bryant & Stratton (VA), who was also on a winning streak of their own with 11 straight W’s.
The game never favored either side until the very end, where eventually the Bobcats pulled it out over SWVCC.
SWVCC now has just 3 games left on their schedule, with the final on February 28th.
