Councilmembers recently sworn in to serve Hinton, WV

HINTON, W.Va. (WVVA) - The city of Hinton is welcoming the next era of community leadership.

The city sharing online the swearing in of the newly elected officials from ceremony the week of July 1st.

The ceremony taking place at the Hinton Freight Depot.

Lee Ann Goins and Janima “J” Bond join incumbents--Roberta “Bobbi” Sorg, Jim Leslie & Mayor Jack Scott for the four year term.

Bond, a well-known community member who has spent time in the financial industry.

Goins, an area businesswoman, who recently opened Hinton-focused souvenir and memorabilia shop, Hinton Outfitters, with her sister Kathy in 2023.
