MERCER COUNTY, W.Va. (WVVA) - The Montcalm Generals are making touchdowns off the gridiron--the school sharing on social media it is one of the latest winners in the “Friday night 5G Lights competition by T-Mobile.
According to the cellular phone company’s website, experts analyze the school spirit and community support by looking at social media posts shared.
Montcalm High is one of only 50 schools to be selected.
With this selection the school is taking home $5000 to put toward the school project of their choice.
The Generals noting its next goal is being named a top 16 finalist so you’re encouraged to keep sharing your photos and videos and use the hashtag #FN5GL on socials.
