Tazewell County Public Schools to celebrate Virginia assessment results

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. (WVVA) - Tazewell County Public Schools announced that they were ranked the tenth highest performing school division out of 131 school divisions in Virginia. The rankings are based on state assessments for the 2023-2024 school year.

Tazewell County Public Schools (TCPS) said to celebrate, they’ll host a county-wide celebration for students in all schools on Oct. 31. Also part of the celebration, all TCPS schools will be closed on Friday, Nov. 1, for a Staff Appreciation Day.
