Principal for upcoming Timberwood Elementary School announced

MERCER COUNTY, W.Va. (WVVA) - The Mercer County Board of Education announced the principal for the school, which is scheduled to open in 2025.

Timberwood Elementary School is set to open in Fall 2025, and the Mercer County Board of Education announced that Dr. Sarah Grose will be the principal for the school.

Dr. Grose has served as principal at Bluewell Elementary for fourteen years, and was a Title 1 Teacher at Straley and Lashmeet Matoaka Schools.

Timberwood Elementary is a consolidation of Bluewell and Brushfork Elementary Schools, which the Board of Education said will create a unified educational environment for students from both communities.
