Five local wrestlers have podium finishes in Bristol
With an elongated state tournament on Saturday and Sunday, multiple Richlands, Graham, and Tazewell wrestlers showed out

BRISTOL, Va. (WVVA) - Due to the snow two weeks ago, the VHSL postponed the Class 2 state wrestling tournament to this past Saturday and would run through into Sunday where 12 total local wrestlers (eight from Richlands, three from Graham and one from Tazewell) came in vying for some hardware.
Ultimately, five wrestlers would medal with four from Richlands and one from Graham.
Richlands:
Wyatt Spencer - 3rd at 144lbs
Andrew Boyd - 4th at 157lbs
Hunter Blankenship - 5th at 165lbs
Trevor Dupree - 3rd at 285lbs
- Richlands as a team came in 5th place
Graham:
Leland Altizer - 5th at 150lbs
